Snow day with Daddy!!

Ady had a snow day with Daddy today, since he wasn't able to get to work!! While watching "Imagination Movers" (one of Ady's favorite shows) they were playing "air guitar" with her toy golf clubs. It was quite amusing!!

They were really getting into it in this picture. Ady even makes funny noises when she plays guitar... She learned those from Daddy, too!!

They took a time out to wear funny glasses and hats, I couldn't resist posting this one of Quetnin, though he will probably kill me when he sees it!! :)

More Snow! More Snow!

... or as Ady would say "Mo know! Mo know!!!" At least that is how it sounds!! We had a good 6 inches of snow on the ground when we woke up this morning!! Of course, Quentin had to work, but luckily for us he got stuck twice in the snow on the way, and ended up coming home and having a snow day!! This is a picture of the snow in the cul-de-sac, the snow plow piled it up and the kids had a blast!! Adyson loves playing outside, and throws a huge fit when it is time to come in...




Shasta LOVES the snow. She would stay out there for hours if I would let her. She just runs around and jumps all around! Ady stood at the back door looking out saying "Shasa (she doesn't pronounce the "t" sound) whaddtdataya dooouuuuuing? " (that means what are you doing?)

Snow!!

It snowed today at our house, and Adyson was excited to finally get to play in the "noooooow"

(Basically say the word "snow" without the "s" sound on the front...) Last time it snowed, the

only time she got to play in it was in the parking lot at the grocery store, and it took us 30 minutes to get from the car to the front door, she had to step in every track and clump!! This is the first year she has really been old enough to play in it so I just let her play. So today, when she saw it snowing out the back door, she wanted to play immediately!! We didn't play until the afternoon when it was warmer (HA! if you can call 22 degrees warmer...) and she had a blast. It was so cold that the snow wouldn't even stick together to make a snowball!!! It only snowed about 1/2" so we got the broom out and swept it into piles so that Adyson would have more snow to play with. She had a blast, but absolutely HATED coming inside. She threw a huge fit, and based on her screaming, the neighbors probably thought I beat the tar out of her (but I didn't). Hopefully we get some "real" snow soon and we can build a snowman... Guess we'll have to wait and see!!

Adyson's latest obsession is SpongeBob SquarePants. Every morning when she wakes up she crawls out of bed, comes to our room and says "Milk, Bob Bob". She says something that resembles "sponge" but all together it sounds more like "Bob Bob" hehe. So, of course, SpongeBob isn't on tv around the clock, so we now have 3 SpongeBob DVDs that we rotate through when he isn't on. She still loves Handy Manny, Tigger and Pooh, and Imagination Movers (but they are only on in the AM) and it is all Bob Bob from there out!!

We were browsing through K-Mart the other day and she had a complete melt down. She started cring and screaming and going wild so I let her down to walk. She walked back 2 aisles and picked up a SpongeBob "accent pillow" and needless to say, it came home with us and she was a happy little girl again...

Well, I did it...I created a blog!!

In due time, I will get this thing up and running and pretty and fun... Until then, I am playing around with backgrounds and "learning" how to blog!! I blame Margie and Monica for my sudden interest in this ordeal, hehe, thanks ladies!!
